Unusual Machines, Inc. (NYSE: UMAC) has secured a lease for a 17,000-square-foot drone motor production facility located in Orlando, Florida. Production at this new facility is set to commence in September 2025.
Production Capacity and Goals
The plant will manufacture high-performance brushless motors in sizes 2207, 2807, and 3220, aimed at enhancing commercial drones and FPVs. It is projected that the facility will ramp up to produce over 50,000 motors monthly, significantly boosting Unusual Machines' domestic production capacity.

This new Orlando site reflects Unusual Machines, Inc.'s commitment to onshoring drone component manufacturing in response to rising demand and regulatory changes. Its proximity to Rotor Riot's headquarters facilitates rapid feedback and alignment with end-users. Vice President of Manufacturing, Brad Mello, highlighted the incorporation of digital traceability, automated quality control, and lean manufacturing processes.
Future Growth and Investment Potential
According to CEO Allan Evans, the company is already placing orders for essential equipment and adopting a dual-sourcing strategy for critical components like magnets, bearings, and stators to mitigate supply chain risks. The global drone accessories market is expected to soar from $17.5 billion to $115 billion by 2032.
